NORWAY

He plays his instrument with a virtuous dexterity and a wonderful energy and phrasing.
Aftenposten, Oslo

Eduardo Falú, a privileged virtuoso, a relevant folklore musician, has visited our cold and Nordic country.
Morgenbladet, Oslo

SPAIN

His technique, which is his own, is very characteristic. He is different from any other guitarist in the present or past. As time goes by, his guitar, or his fingers, seem to get angry, and the sound is higher, more impressive. And this happens in each one of his concerts. Milongas, preludes, carnavalitos and many Argentine rhythms, show a new and unknown dimension. We saw Eduardo Falú at the Festival in La Rabida, which he closed and we thought that was the best he could do. But he can do better, in each new concert.
Luis Carlos Buraya, Ya newspaper, Madrid

In the same performance Falú sings sentimental songs, romantic ballads and folklore, but he also performs folklore and classical music for the guitar, mixing the levels through harmonisation: the result is explosive for those with a delicate heart, but fervent for those with a more receptive one.
Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos, Núm 233, Madrid

Not as popular as many of the performers who have made his music widely heard, Falú gathered a young audience, which knew of his creative skills through the recordings in our local market. They and those who had so far not known of his art, were taken by this man, tall, bald, dressed in black and wearing a tie, who, from the first moment, presented a great success, which resulted in long, warm, tireless ovation.
Salvador Corderó, Diario de Barcelona, Barcelona

Some critics have compared the influence of Argentine Eduardo Falú over traditional Argentine music with that of Tárrega over Spanish music. This famous Argentine guitarist is one of the most important names in traditional Argentine music. His debut was in Buenos Aires in 1945 (…) This were his first steps as a performer. Only four years later did he cross the Atlantic to perform in France. He introduced his first record in the European market. Since then he has become famous all over the world and he has performed in Asia and in North America.
Ya newspaper, Madrid

He has reached unsuspected artistic height in the combination of classic forms for the interpretation of his country’s folklore. His technique shows great music studies, and a vivid expression of traditional themes and rhythms, which he plays as if they were classical pieces. The union of musical expression with eloquence in the performance gives the audience an example of the strength of folklore, which does not appear to be monotonous in its compositions.

To the excellence of his playing we should add the attraction of the different folk songs, which acquire a very suggestive sensitivity.
Pueblo Vasco newspaper, Bilbao

CHILE

He came in in the middle of the ovation and left in the same way, after three encores. This was Eduardo Falú in the Municipal Theatre, on Thursday, coming back to Chile after eight years.

Falú showed again that, besides being an eminent performer, he has a strong temperament with which he connects with the audience in each one of his pieces.
La Tercera de la Hora, Santiago

USA

The great Argentine guitarist Eduardo Falú played in San Francisco for the first time on Friday at Nourse Auditorium, presenting such an incredible program that it would be necessary to go back sixty years to find something similar.

Since Francisco Tárrega stopped giving concerts, there has not been a guitar composer who could take the spirit of his people and translate it to the formal composition and who also had the courage and the technical ability to take this message to concert halls all over the world.
Sunday Chronicle, San Francisco

Eduardo Falú, the Argentine virtuoso, in his first American tour, offered a unique experience to his sensitive audience who received the artist with endless enthusiasm.

In times of noise and hassle, how comforting were the delicate tonal images with their penetrating rhythms and lamenting melodies!
San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco

In „Variaciones de Milonga“ Falú performed a duet with his guitar, through a continuos bass plucking and an accompanying strumming of all strings, while keeping the melody below and over that. The perplex audience was looking for a second hidden guitar, while he was doing all this with the magic of his ten fingers.
Santa Bárbara News, Santa Bárbara

Normally the American people do not stand on their feet for anyone, except their favourite politicians. But on Saturday there was an exception, when the supreme art of guitarist Eduardo Falú made people stand, offering him a close applause.
La Jolla Sentinel, San Francisco

Falú’s style is incredibly original. Even when he accompanies himself, his melodic turns are unexpected and subtle. Both when playing his own compositions, as when performing other composers’, he shows a great intensity, combined with an attention to structure, that gives music an uncommon strength. His compositions and arrangements are so defined that produce the effect of a counterpoint. His technique is easy and perfect and he possesses the most perfect tremolo that has been heard. The Argentine Center of Washington, D.C. brought Falú to this recital. They can be very proud of this fellow citizen.
The Evening Star, Washington

FRANCE

An idol to music lovers in South America, (…) Eduardo Falú has succeeded in his task of taking to all corners of the world the richness of Latin America’s folklore. His concerts give testimony of an exceptional technique, a technique put to the service of his respect to love and to authenticity. The American critics have called him „a genius and his guitar“. From Mexico to Bolivia, from Argentina to Peru, and from Brazil to Uruguay, Eduardo Falú, performer and composer, gives us a warm and colourful painting that mixes the popular guitar with the classic and with flamenco.
Jean-Clade ZanaMatch, Paris

Falú’s performance was reviewed in „La Depeche Du Midi“, from Castres with these words: „The quiet strength of the Argentine musician that received the applause of a fervent audience“.
D’Esperance Giral La Depeche Du Midi, Castres

From his sweet voice, deep and harmonic, and from his guitar, with its pure sounds, came out music that has been capable of taking the audience to the Andes.
L.O. La Corse, Le Provencal, Corcega

JAPAN

A guitar that lives, that breathes, that is Falú. His technique is not orthodox, but what he feels, creates and improves. It cannot be imitated. Falú uses all kinds of techniques during his concerts, but in a natural way, so that in no moment does the technique stand over his work. It seems that his music comes directly from his fingers taking the most precise sounds from the strings.
